Israel-Iran War: Israeli Airstrikes on Tehran, Iran Strikes Back at Tel Aviv

Tensions between Israel and Iran have escalated sharply, with Israel reportedly launching airstrikes on Tehran, while Iran retaliated by inflicting damage on Tel Aviv.

The military conflict between Israel and Iran has intensified significantly, with both nations launching large-scale attacks against each other. Israel has reportedly carried out extensive airstrikes on Tehran, targeting not only civilian areas but also critical defense infrastructure. These strikes are said to have included attacks on nuclear facilities and underground ballistic missile sites.

According to reports, the intense Israeli air raids have resulted in the deaths of at least 60 people, including 29 children. Israel claims that its strikes have eliminated nine senior Iranian nuclear scientists and several top military generals.

In retaliation, Iran launched a series of ballistic missile attacks on Israel, marking one of the most damaging assaults on Tel Aviv to date. While Israeli authorities claim the overall damage was limited, the scale of the Iranian response suggests a significant escalation. Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations stated that a total of 78 people have been killed and over 320 injured in the attacks so far.

Adding to the seriousness of the situation, the Iran-backed Houthi rebel group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for launching ballistic missiles at central Israel’s Jaffa region within the last 24 hours. According to the group, the attack was carried out in coordination with Tehran, signaling a broader regional involvement in the conflict.

As tensions rise and casualties mount, the conflict threatens to destabilize the region further, drawing global concern and urgent calls for de-escalation.
