Iran-Israel Conflict: Decision on Whether to Attack Iran Will Be Made Within Two Weeks: White House

The White House has stated that former President Donald Trump will decide within the next two weeks whether or not to launch an attack on Iran.

The White House announced on Thursday that former President Donald Trump will make a decision within the next two weeks on whether or not to launch a military strike against Iran. Despite rising tensions, Trump still sees a “significant” possibility that U.S. and Israeli demands regarding Iran’s nuclear program could be met through diplomatic negotiations.

The statement, made by White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt, effectively extends the deadline of a warning previously issued to Iran. The warning calls on Iran to immediately halt its uranium enrichment activities and any other actions that could lead to the development of nuclear weapons.

Quoting Trump, Leavitt said, “There is still a considerable possibility that talks with Iran may or may not take place in the near future. Keeping that in mind, I will make a final decision on whether to proceed with a military strike within the next two weeks.”

The remarks underscore the high-stakes nature of the ongoing conflict and suggest that while military options remain on the table, diplomatic avenues have not yet been fully ruled out.
