After Modi, Trump Threatens Putin and Xi Jinping, Says “These People Fear Only the US”

Earlier, the world did not take Donald Trump seriously. However, the events in Venezuela served as a wake-up call. Nicolás Maduro was removed, and control over Venezuela’s oil was taken. Trump openly declared, “I run the country.” From that moment, the world understood that Trump’s words were not mere statements, but signals of actions that were about to follow.

The developments involving the United States, Donald Trump, Greenland, Venezuela, Russia, China, India, Canada, and NATO are no longer isolated incidents. They have become interconnected links in a much larger global confrontation. Trump’s statements on Greenland are no longer being seen as mere rhetoric. Canada has taken them as a direct warning. Canada’s foreign minister is set to visit Greenland, and the country is planning to open a consulate there. European nations, too, are increasingly coming out openly against Trump.

Canada has realized that what is Greenland today could be Canada tomorrow. Trump has already said that Canada should become part of the United States. This means the issue is no longer about jokes or political statements. Earlier, the world tended to take Trump lightly, but the developments in Venezuela changed that perception. Nicolás Maduro was removed, control over Venezuela’s oil was taken, and Trump openly declared, “I run the country.” From that point on, the world understood that Trump’s words signal impending action.

Trump’s next move was to warn Russia and China to exit Venezuela. Pressure has reportedly been applied on Venezuela to sever economic ties with Russia, China, and Cuba, and to prioritize US oil instead. The message is clear: either align with the United States or stand against it. US President Donald Trump has reiterated that he has ended several wars across the world and claimed that NATO has no significance without America. He also said that Russia and China do not fear NATO in the absence of US participation. Writing on Truth Social, Trump stated that without US involvement, Russia would have already taken control of all of Ukraine. He further claimed that he alone ended eight wars and noted sarcastically that despite being a NATO member, Norway did not award him the Nobel Peace Prize.

However, China is not among those willing to remain silent after the US move. China is Venezuela’s largest oil buyer, receiving around 613,000 barrels of oil per day in 2025. China has said it will protect its oil tankers, a clear signal that it could increase its military presence if necessary. Trump has also warned India against buying oil from Russia, offering cheaper oil from the US instead—an attempt to exert pressure on India through energy supplies. If Europe, Canada, China, Russia, the Global South, and India unite, Trump’s aggressive strategy could potentially be countered.
