Bharatiya Janata Party Makes a Big Political Move in Kerala: Rajeev Chandrasekhar Files Nomination, Bhajan Lal Sharma Shows Strong Support
Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that he is deeply grateful to Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, for coming to support him during the filing of his nomination. He also expressed his gratitude to the hundreds and thousands of party workers who accompanied him, as well as to the people of Nemom and Thiruvananthapuram who stood by him on the occasion. Chandrasekhar said that the overwhelming support and affection have filled him with hope and strengthened his commitment to fulfill the responsibilities he plans to undertake.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Kerala, filed his nomination from the Nemom constituency for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections. On this occasion, Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, was also present to show his support. Speaking to the media, Chandrasekhar expressed gratitude for Sharma’s presence and said he would work tirelessly for the development of Nemom.
Chandrasekhar said he was deeply thankful to the Rajasthan Chief Minister for traveling to support him during the filing of his nomination. He also thanked the hundreds and thousands of party workers who accompanied him, as well as the people of Nemom and Thiruvananthapuram who stood by him. He said the overwhelming support and affection had filled him with hope and strengthened his resolve to fulfill the responsibilities he plans to undertake. Chandrasekhar promised that if given the opportunity, he would work hard to address public issues, accelerate development in Nemom, and strive to make it a model constituency in Kerala by working round the clock, 365 days a year.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that BJP workers in Kerala are highly enthusiastic and confident about victory. He added that during his visit to Kerala he could clearly see the energy and commitment among party workers. Sharma expressed confidence that significant political changes would take place in the state and that the BJP would perform strongly and emerge as a major political force.
The BJP is currently trying to strengthen its position in Kerala, where political competition has traditionally been dominated by the Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Left Democratic Front and the Indian National Congress-led United Democratic Front, both of which are aiming to retain or regain power in the state.
Earlier on Friday, Union Minister Suresh Gopi stressed the need for a strong presence of the National Democratic Alliance in the state assembly. Referring to administrative failures over the past decade, he urged NDA candidates to secure victories across constituencies to ensure effective representation in the assembly.
