China’s Secret ‘Military City’ Near Beijing Sparks Global Alarm: 10 Times the Size of the Pentagon, Nuclear-Proof Bunkers Inside

China is once again in the global spotlight over its military ambitions — this time for constructing a massive and highly secretive military complex. The site, reportedly many times larger than the Pentagon, has caught the attention of international intelligence agencies, with experts speculating that it’s part of China’s preparation for future warfare.

Located just 32 kilometers (around 20 miles) from Beijing, this colossal “military city” is being built with extraordinary secrecy. According to intelligence reports, the facility includes not only vast surface-level infrastructure but also an underground network of steel-reinforced bunkers, designed to withstand even nuclear strikes.

American intelligence sources suggest that this project could serve as China’s future command-and-control center during large-scale conflicts. Construction is believed to have begun in 2024 and has progressed rapidly over the past year.

Pentagon vs. China’s Military Megastructure

The Pentagon is currently the world’s largest office building, but China’s new military complex appears to surpass it significantly, reportedly spanning more than 4 kilometers in width. Despite its scale, no obvious military activity is visible from the outside.

A report by The Sun indicates that U.S. intelligence agencies suspect the facility’s architecture is strategically designed for high-level military operations. Under President Xi Jinping, China has been aggressively expanding its nuclear arsenal — a move that experts warn could bring it on par with the United States within the next decade.

What Is China Hiding?

There’s no official information about the nature of this project, and the Chinese embassy has denied any knowledge of it. However, tight security around the site tells a different story. Unauthorized entry is strictly prohibited, drones and cameras are banned, and even popular hiking trails nearby have been blocked off to prevent the public from getting a glimpse of the construction.

The growing secrecy and scale of the project are fueling concerns that China is preparing for potential future global conflict — possibly even a third world war scenario.
