PM Modi in Bihar: Fulfilled My Promise, Turned Terror Hubs to Rubble in Operation Sindoor
While inaugurating development projects worth over ₹48,520 crore in Karakat, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a large public gathering. In his speech, he referred to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and emphasized the government’s unwavering resolve in combating terrorism.
Modi began by stating that the people of Sasaram understand the principles and values of Lord Ram, invoking the phrase: “Pran jaye par vachan na jaye”—“I may lose my life, but not my promise.” He reminded the audience that he had vowed, from the very soil of Bihar, to destroy the terrorist masterminds behind the Pahalgam attack. “Today, I return to Bihar having fulfilled that promise,” he declared.
“We Turned Their Bases to Ruins”
Modi asserted that those who orchestrated the attack from Pakistani soil, those who dared to dishonor the sindoor (symbol of marital dignity) of Indian daughters, have now faced retribution. “Our forces turned their terror camps into rubble. Pakistan, and the world, have now witnessed the power of India’s daughters—and the wrath of India when they are harmed.”
He said that under the protection of the Pakistani army, terrorists used to feel invincible, but India’s armed forces forced them to their knees in one decisive blow. “We destroyed their airbases and military facilities in just minutes. This is the strength of a New India,” Modi proclaimed.
BSF’s Valor in Operation Sindoor
The Prime Minister highlighted the extraordinary bravery of the Border Security Force (BSF) during Operation Sindoor, saying the world watched the unmatched courage of India’s frontline defenders. He praised the BSF as an unbreakable shield on India’s borders and paid tribute to BSF Sub-Inspector Imtiyaz, who was martyred on May 10 while serving at the border. “I respectfully salute this brave son of Bihar,” Modi said.
He sent a strong message to adversaries, saying: “What you saw in Operation Sindoor is just one arrow from our quiver. India’s strength is far greater.”
